So I did receive letters of response from both parties in the previous post outlining the saga of Gro2 v. GLT - which I was debating posting to continue the dialogue, but instead chose not to. As you may know, that post has been removed from the blog, as I realized my innocent question about the true nature of the situation, coupled with my lack of a specific dog in this particular fight, made it somewhat dicey for me place myself in the middle of something I really didn't have a stake in.
I'm sure the specifics will get aired out in the media, the courts, or the forum of public opinion, but wanted to focus on what this blog is really about - the equitable and unbiased dissemination of ideas, visuals, and concepts related to Vegetated Architecture in all of it's exciting forms. While design criticism is allowed, thoughtful input is helpful, and disagreements in methods are encouraged, these all have a purpose in promoting the overall concept to a wider audience and growing the Veg.itectural industry. Legal and ethical disagreements, however, are well outside my intent and purview, so I will leave the actors in this stage show to continue this aspect of the dialogue outside of my particular arena.
